The Medical Doctors of St. John's is seeking a hospitalist to join their supportive team in Santa Monica, California. Enjoy making an impact in healthcare while exploring sunny California.
- Will work at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica
- Average daily census of 15-17 patients per 12-hour shift
- 7-8 hospitalists during day shifts (12-hour shift)
- 1-2 hospitalist during night shift (12-hour shift)
- Concurrent rounding and admitting shifts with option for swing admitting shifts
- Closed ICU with in-house 24/7 ICU coverage for rapid responses and codes
- Primary medicine hospitalist service along with post-op surgical co-management
- Annual shift requirement: 183 shifts (12 hours)
- Early to mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply for available positions
- Graduate from an accredited medical school
- Graduate from an accredited IM or FM residency program
- Active or eligible for California medical license
- Demonstrate expertise in communication and ability to work well in a team environment with PCPs, specialists, ancillary hospital staff, along with patients and families.
- Compensation is between $270,322 and $361,204 per year
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted
