To meet the needs of the region's children and provide seamless, high quality, comprehensive pediatric care close to home for the children & families of Northern Virginia, Inova Children's Service Line has recently enlarged its ambulatory network of subspecialists. We are seeking a qualified physician to join our rapidly-growing team of pediatric specialists as part of the Division of Pediatric Nephrology.

Responsibilities and Practice Details:

• Division includes five physicians
• Home to programs caring for children with kidney disorder and related complications, including (but not limited to) chronic kidney disease, pediatric hypertension clinic; blood and/or protein in the urine; chronic urinary tract infections; kidney stones; renal insufficiency; congenital nephrologic and urologic abnormalities/disorders; and renal failure
• Nephrology patients seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital), Ashburn, Virginia and via telemedicine.
• Inpatient care provided at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital. The Inova Children's Nephrology Division also provides the inpatient coverage at Georgetown University Hospital.
• Providing medical leadership and support to Somatus pediatric dialysis program
• Supports learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program
• Faculty appointment opportunity at University of Virginia Medical School Inova Campus
• Sharing call with the other physicians, supported by a robust triage system

Our state-of-the-art Pediatric Multispecialty Ambulatory Practice at Willow Oaks is home to thirteen pediatric specialties, with an additional six specialties ramping up in the next 12-18 months. This practice is across the street from Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital, a 226-bed children's hospital at Inova Fairfax Hospital medical campus, located in Northern Virginia. Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children's hospital in Northern Virginia.
