Encompass Health announced it has purchased land near the 4900 block of 12th Ave. in Pensacola, Florida with plans to build a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital to serve patients recovering from debilitating illnesses and injuries.

The planned hospital, once constructed, will become part of Encompass Health's national network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health and hospice agencies. The Company's Florida footprint currently includes 12 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals with an additional hospital under construction in north Tampa and 18 home health locations.

We are seeking a full time PM&R Medical Director interested in building a practice and growing with the Pensacola, FL community. High income potential in a beautiful area of Florida's Panhandle. PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION

• Expected patient load 15-20 patients
• Medical Director compensation for administrative duties
• Full Relocation

• Option to consult at local acute care hospitals
• Effective Marketing teams based at acute care hospitals

PRACTICE MODEL
 
PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients.  The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections.  Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes - Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
