The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow is designed to provide a high-quality training experience for future psychologists interested in making a clinical and academic contribution to the field.   The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow participates in the psychological evaluation and treatment of patients in a variety of care settings within Baylor Scott & White Health system with sufficient frequency, depth, and duration to achieve the competencies required by their discipline, acting at all times under the supervision of licensed, attending clinical staff members.  The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow performs procedures, which are specified by the Program Director and carried out under the supervision of a psychologist, including clinical assessment, psycho-diagnostic testing, consultation, psychological therapies, and teaching.  The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow communicates effectively and on a continuous basis with their supervising psychologist regarding the findings of their psychological evaluation and treatment of patients, including case formulations and treatment projections for psycho-diagnostic testing, and intended consultations/clinical interventions.  The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow writes psychological consultations, assessment reports, and progress notes in the electronic medical record, while supervising psychologists retain responsibility for the care of patients, review the care of the patients, and co-sign all chart entries. 
The ideal candidate for The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow must have excellent verbal and written communications. The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow must also pay attention to all detail.

- EDUCATION - Doctorate

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 4 years experience required
