Education and length of practice are considered through a formal pay-setting process to determine the final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay) The interventional radiologist has primary responsibility for interventional radiology procedures. This includes review of IR orders for appropriateness and feasibility, pre-procedure preparation, knowledge and technical skill in image-guided procedures, post-procedure care and appropriate documentation in CPRS.
